Terms and Conditions of Sale
Shipping Information:
$10 NZ wide courier service, allow 2-3 working days for delivery, excluding roof
boxes. $40 NZ wide freight service for roof boxes, allow 3-4 working days for delivery.
Only one freight charge is payable per order, this can include several products.
Our aim is to dispatch your order the next working day after receiving your order.
We ship only to New Zealand destinations using courier or freight services.
Dispatch and delivery days are Monday – Friday.
For security reasons and prevention of credit card fraud we do not send internet
orders to Post Office boxes. All packages are signature required for your protection.
if there will be no one home to sign during courier delivery times, please arrange
an alternative delivery address.
We source your order primarily from our store, but some items may be sourced on
demand (such as some fitting kits for roof racks). If there is any delay beyond
3 working days to dispatch your order, we will notify you by e-mail. Should an advertised
item sell out or is for reasons beyond our control not available, we will contact
you immediately and offer you an alternative product or a refund.
If you do not receive your order within 5 working days, or it arrives in damaged
condition, you must contact us immediately as any claim for a missing or damaged
parcel may be declined by the carrier after 7 days.

Returns Policy:
Hamco Auto Shop has a 20 day returns policy on all non-sale items sold via this
website (Tyre chains are excluded). The 20 day period begins from date of purchase.
Prior to returning the item you must e-mail us to obtain a Return Authorisation
Number which must be included with the item being returned. This enables us to process
the return quickly.
Goods must be returned to us in original condition, unused and in original packaging.
Return freight is the customers responsibility and care.
Freight charges are not refunded.
Credits are given to the same credit card or account as originally charged to.
Hamco Auto Shop reserves the right to charge for damaged or soiled goods.
Warranty Returns:
Hamco Auto Shop complies with the Consumer Guarantees Act and the Fair Trading Act
and stands by all their requirements. If a product is faulty, we will endeavour
to rectify the problem without delay.
A faulty product needs to be returned to us at the customers cost with a complete
and full description of the fault and how it occurred. Faults caused by wrong use
or exceeding manufacturers recommendations are not covered.
Hamco Auto Shop reserves the right to inspect all claims of faulty goods. If the
item is found to be in correct working order, the customer will be contacted. We
reserve the right to repair or replace the item within a reasonable time frame.
If the product cannot be repaired or replaced we will offer a refund excluding freight.
Our liability for any claim related to the supply by us of goods or services is
limited to the cost paid by you for the goods and excludes consequential damages.

Errors and Out of Stock items
We make every effort to keep our website updated with accurate information, product
description correct images and prices. Occasionally we may make an error and we
reserve the right to correct this as soon as it is brought to our attention. It
is never our intention to provide misleading information. If a genuine pricing error
shows a product listed below our cost, we will advise the customer and offer the
product at a discount price from the correct price or an alternative product. The
customer has the option to cancel the sale. This is in accordance to the Fair Trading
Act.
It is our aim to have stock available for every item advertised on our website.
However it is possible to have sold a product in store shortly before an item is
purchased online. Usually stock can be ordered and be available within a week. If
this is not acceptable to the customer, we will endeavour to find a suitable alternative
product. In the instance that our supplier is also out of stock and the alternative
product is not acceptable to the customer, we reserve the right to cancel the sale
and provide a full refund.
